Review of Flow and Heat Transfer in Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers
Printed circuit heat exchanger is an efficient and compact heat exchanger that can withstand high temperature and pressure. It has broad application prospects in fields such as supercritical carbon dioxide power generation, ships,LNG,and hydrogen energy. This article introduces the development history, manufacturing processes, and characteristics of printed circuit heat exchangers. It summarizes the current research status of numerical simulation calculations for printed circuit heat exchangers with different channel types both domestically and internationally. It also summarizes the heat transfer and pressure drop empirical relationships obtained by some scholars through experiments, and lists some novel design ideas from scholars. Finally, several prospects for the development of printed circuit heat exchangers are proposed.
