Determination of Rhodium in Rhodium Triiodide by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry
After the sample was dissolved in concentrated acid, organic matter and iodine were removed by hydrogen peroxide, and the solution was prepared at an appropriate concentration. The sample was sprayed into the air-acetylene lean flame atomization system of an atomic absorption spectrometer using a hollow cathode lamp as the light source, and the absorbance was measured at 345.3 nm wavelength. The amount of rhodium in the sample was quantified using a standard curve. After verification, the relative standard deviation of the six determinations of the same sample was less than 0.5%,the recovery rate was between 98.4%~101.8%,the detection limit was 0.027 mg/L,and the method was simple to operate and fast to determine, which could meet the requirements for the determination of rhodium content in triiodide rhodium.
