Study on Flow Measurement of Carbon Dioxide Injection Pipeline
According to the problem of large error in flow metering of CO2 injection pipeline at the wellhead of oil field, this paper analyzes the causes of error, and summarizes that the main causes of large error are the large change of carbon dioxide density and the impact of pulsating flow. The computer control system is used to calculate and compensate the density of the differential pressure flowmeter in real time, output the mass flow, and compare with the Coriolis mass flowmeter in series.Field tests and analysis have been carried out in high-pressure well pads and medium pressure well pads. The results show that the real-time density calculation compensation and the use of dampers can effectively improve the measurement accuracy of differential pressure flowmeters, and can meet the needs of flow measurement in injection pipelines of oil field carbon dioxide drive projects.
