Various Types of Fire Systems for Asia's First Oil and Gas Treatment and Onshore Power Equipment Co-Located Platforms
Offshore oil and gas platforms occupy an important position in the entire offshore petroleum industry and are the basis for offshore oil and gas extraction and transportation.Due to the high-risk and high-yield characteristics of offshore oil and gas operations,the fire-fighting system on the platform needs to be considered in the design and construction stage.As the fire protection systems on offshore platforms are complicated and diverse,the corresponding fire protection systems should be arranged according to the different safety hazards during offshore oil and gas operations,and the practitioners should be aware of the types,functions and trigger conditions of the fire protection systems on offshore platforms.Starting from the Chengbei CEPC block,Asia's first co-built platform for oil and gas processing and onshore power equipment constructed in Qingdao construction site,this paper elaborates on the fire protection system of this platform,and explains in detail its system composition,working principle and triggering mode,which is of reference significance for offshore oil and gas practitioners.
