Study on Effect of Alkali/Alkaline Earth Metals on Activity of SCR DeNOx Catalysts in Coal-Fired Power Plants
In this study, the industrial SCR DeNOx catalyst(V-W/Ti)was taken as the research object, and the poisoning catalysts with different K,Na,Ca and Mg loading were prepared by impregnation method, and the influence mechanism and law of alkali metal and alkaline earth metal on the activity of industrial SCR DeNOx catalyst was explored by combining the characterization of the physicochemical properties of the catalyst and the evaluation of catalyst activity. The results showed that the activity of the catalyst decreased positively with the content of V2O5 after alkali metal and alkaline earth metal poisoning. The inhibition intensities of K,Na,Ca and Mg on catalyst activity were as follows:K>Na>Mg>Ca.The quantitative relationship between catalyst activity and alkali metal and alkaline earth metal element concentrations was found, and the catalyst activity decay curve was plotted.alkali metal and alkaline earth metal poisoning will not change the crystallization state and microscopic morphology of the catalysts, and has little effect on the pore structure of the catalyst, but will significantly weaken the acidity and reducing ability of the catalyst, which is the key factor causing the decline of catalyst activity.Exploring the influence mechanism and law of alkali metals, alkaline earth metals K,Na,Ca and Mg on the activity of industrial SCR DeNOx catalysts is of great guiding significance for the detection of fresh catalysts in coal-fired power plants and the operation diagnosis of in-service catalysts, and for the formulation of timely and reasonable catalyst replacement and regeneration life-cycle management plans.
