Research on Improving the Temperature Resistance of Oil-based Drilling Fluid Emulsifiers with Nanomaterials
The existing oil-based drilling fluid emulsifiers are mainly composed of surfactants and polymers, molecular chains are prone to breakage at high temperatures and lack stability over long periods of time.A high-temperature resistant SSE-200 emulsifier was developed by introducing nanomaterials. The performance of emulsifiers was evaluated by the voltage method of demulsification and the high-temperature aging method, and a high-temperature resistant oil-based drilling fluid system was established.Research has shown that SSE-200 emulsifier has strong temperature resistance, and the demulsification voltage of the emulsion aged at 200 ℃ for 48 hours is still above 300 V.A set of oil-based drilling fluid system was constructed using SSE-200 emulsifier as the core treatment agent, with a density adjustable between 0.9 and 2.3 g/cm3.After aging at 200 ℃ for 48 hours, the plastic viscosity, dynamic shear force and filtration loss of the system remained basically unchanged, and the demulsification voltage value was above 750 V.
