Research Progress on Inhibiting/Shrinking Swelling Agents for Oil Fields
Inhibiting/shrinking swelling agents as a new type of oilfield additive.It can avoid the aquation,inflation,dispersion and migration of clay,and can reduce the expansion volume of expanded clay,recover reservoir permeability,lower the water injection pressure,enhance the injection water volume and the role of raising crude oil production.The function mechanism,characterization,evaluation methodology,research situation,practical application and market products of inhibiting/shrinking swelling agents are introduced in this article.Finally,summary and outlook on inhibiting/shrinking swelling agents.
