Digital Servitization of Manufacturing Firms Based on Industrial Internet Platforms——The Chain Mediating Role of Meaning Construction
In view of the importance of industrial Internet platform and its important role in digital servitization,taking traditional manufacturing enterprises that utilize the digital technology solutions provided by the platform as a sample,we construct a chain mediation model of the connectivity and compatibility formed by enterprises after utilizing the platform technology to carry out servitization transformation through meaning construction.The model hypotheses are tested using regression and Bootstrap,and the results show:Connectivity can positively promote digital servitization;Connectivity-compatibility-servitization,connectivity-meaning construction-servitization,and connectivity-compatibility-meaning construction-servicization have significant intermediary effects;The total mediation effect of the three paths is significantly larger than the direct effect,indicating that ubiquitous connection is the foundation of digital servitization and requires organizations to integrate resources and respond to market demands in a timely manner.
