The impact and interaction of sleep rhythm disorder and anxiety symptom on the memory ability of menopausal women
Objective To explore the impact and interaction of sleep rhythm disorder and anxiety symptom on the memory ability of menopausal women. Methods A total of 282 menopausal females were selected as the research subjects and were divided into hypomnesia group(n=97)and non-hypomnesia group(n=185)based on the presence of hypomnesia.Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the relationships among sleep, anxiety and memory ability in menopausal women, and the interactions among them were also analyzed. Results There existed significant differences in age, residence condition, educational level, hypertension, family support, physical exercise, social activities and E2 between two groups(P<0.05).The average sleep duration, social time difference, excessive daytime sleepiness, and anxiety score in hypomnesia group were significantly higher than those in non-hypomnesia group(P<0.05).Regression analysis showed that family support, physical exercise, social activities,E2,average sleep duration≥9 hours, social time difference≥1 hour, daytime sleepiness, and anxiety score were independent influencing factors on the memory ability of menopausal women(P<0.05).The interaction analysis showed that there was a positive interaction between sleep rhythm disorder and moderate to severe anxiety. Conclusion Sleep rhythm disorder and anxiety symptom are risk factors for memory ability in menopausal women, and there is a positive interaction between them. The worsening sleep rhythm disorder and anxiety symptom will aggravate hypomnesia.
