The reconstruction and expansion of existing elevated expressway in cities should be based on the current construction conditions,and the overall plan should be reasonably selected to avoid large-scale demolition,meet the traffic functions of the roads,and improve the operational efficiency of the road network.Taking Jincheng West Road as an example,this paper analyzes the project background,function orientation,traffic volume,technical standards,and construction conditions,and proposes a reasonable overall renovation and expansion plan,providing reference for similar projects.
