In order to effectively improve the driving safety of expressway merging areas,a warning system scheme based on radar-video fusion was proposed.Aiming at the relatively complex traffic operation status in the area,the scheme includes traffic operation state perception,collaborative edge computing,linkage warning information release.The purpose was to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents and congestion events in the merging area.
