Research on the invulnerability of transportation networks-taking freight railway networks as an example
The research utilizes the Space L technique to simulate the transportation network within complex networks.Through examining network traits, various resilience metrics are chosen to quantitatively model how the network responds to different attack strategies, evaluating its resilience and vulnerability. This study, thus, chose a railway freight network in a certain province as an exemplar for examination. The outcomes demonstrate that the chosen freight railway network has scale-free features;when subjected to random attack tactics,it exhibits remarkable resilience;however, when exposed to deliberate offensive strategies, vulnerability is more pronounced.
