Exploration on the selection of construction methods for large-section tunnel in Chongqing
In the process of transportation infrastructure construction in Chongqing,such as rail transit and municipal roads,due to the limitation of longitudinal slope of the lines,tunnels are mostly used to pass through mountains.Taking the Lao Fangzi station as an example,this paper makes a comprehensive comparison of engineering risk,construction technical difficulty,investment and construction period of the two construction methods of the twin-side heading method and the arch cover method of large cross-section tunnel.Based on the analysis,the application conditions of two excavation methods of Chongqing large cross-section tunnel are summarized.
