Evaluation and research on nano zinc alloy anti-corrosion coating for corrugated beam steel guardrails
Hot dip galvanizing is widely used for anti-corrosion treatment of steel components in transportation engineering due to its excellent corrosion resistance, wide environmental adaptability, and good economy. However, this technology has disadvantages such as high energy consumption, high pollution, limited plating size, and poor working environment for workers. This study adopts a combination of theoretical analysis, laboratory testing, and on-site engineering evaluation to evaluate and test the anti-corrosion performance of a new type of nano zinc alloy anti-corrosion coating material. It is compared with traditional hot-dip galvanized coatings in terms of appearance quality, adhesion to metal substrate, and salt spray resistance. The results show that the new nano zinc alloy coating has good appearance quality, dense film formation, uniform coating thickness, and excellent corrosion resistance. In the context of the national"dual carbon"policy,it is expected to become the most promising new anti-corrosion treatment technology to replace hot-dip galvanized coatings.
