Tram lines have been opened or are under construction in many cities across the country,but they are still in the experimental and initial stages on the whole,and the operation is not ideal.Many cities have problems such as insufficient passenger flow,heavy financial pressure,and operating difficulties.Through a comprehensive and systematic review and analysis of the development of trams across the country,experience are summarized,and emphasis is placed on route selection and passenger flow,complementation with rail passenger flow,avoidance of competition with rail and conventional public transport,and shaping their own high-quality services.At the same time,it emphasized that the construction of trams should be promoted according to local conditions and smoothly,ensuring sustainable development,which provided good guidance for other cities to develop trams.
