Application of integrated exploration methods to the adverse geologic section of water diversion tunnel
Addressing the complexities and limitations of geological exploration during mountain tunnel excavation, this study employed a comprehensive approach utilizing high-density electric methods, geomagnetic methods, sonic logging, and the shear wave velocity joint test method. The objective was to investigate the distribution and scale of stratigraphic lithology and undesirable geological bodies along the tunnel route, specifically in the context of water diversion tunnel project in Guilin.Through a variety of survey results, studying the stratigraphic lithology along the tunnel and the distribution characteristics of the undesirable geological bodies, and analyzing the impact of the undesirable geological bodies on the construction of water diversion tunnel,in order to provide a solid and reliable basis for the safe construction of the tunnel.
