Prestressed concrete pipe pile has the advantages of high bearing capacity of single pile,good bending resistance,convenient and quick construction,low project cost and so on.This paper introduces the design and application examples of large-diameter high-strength prestressed concrete pipe piles in the highway bridge foundation in the Yellow River flood area.The bearing capacity of single pipe pile is determined by carrying out static load test,and the detailed construction process is formulated according to the test results and relevant specifications and standards,which provides guidance and reference for the application of large-diameter prestressed high strength concrete pipe piles in the highway bridge foundation in the Yellow River flood area.
