Realistic Dilemmas and Their Relieving Approaches in Stimulating School Running Vitality From the Perspective of Embeddedness Theory
Stimulating the vitality of running schools is the key to the high-quality development of education,and is also an inevitable requirement for the modernization of the education governance system and governance capacity.From the perspective of embeddedness theory,the stimulation of school vitality plays a role through the four endogenous logics of political embeddedness,cultural embeddedness,relationship embeddedness,and information technology embeddedness.However,examining the current mechanism of stimulating school running vitality,there are multiple dilemmas,which are mainly manifested in:excessive administrative embeddedness:school autonomy is impris-oned;the deviation of cultural embeddedness:performance-oriented,overly market-oriented;the weakening of relational embeddedness effect:the marginalization of social subjects'participation;the information technology embedding misalignment:potential risks of technological determinism and barriers to technological convergence,etc.And therefore,we should start from deepening the reform of government-school relations and to strengthen the capacity building of school autonomy;Enhance the consciousness of school culture,in order to return to the rational and public development of school values;Build a school governance community and build a support system of"parent-commu-nity-social organization";Clarify the information technical boundaries and improve the technical supply to the school,so as to provide a reference for the optimization of the mechanism of stimulat-ing the school's running vitality.
