Challenges and Breakthroughs in the Practice of Rural Teachers Taking on the Role of New Rural Talents:An Interpretation Based on the Dramaturgical Theory
The role of rural teachers as new rural talents is of profound significance in enriching the meaning of rural teachers'lives, revitalizing rural civilization, and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.Within the framework of the dramaturgical theory, rural teachers in the role of new rural talents might face challenges such as imbalance in role allocation, incapacity to realize the drama, ineffective foreground setup, misalignment of script guidelines, and disorder in performance classes.Specifically, rural teachers experience identity crisis, inadequate cultural capital when en-gaging in rural public affairs, detachment between rural schools and local communities, lack of ap-propriate norms for behavior as new rural talents at a societal level, and unfavorable conditions for rural teachers to engage deeply in rural settings. Therefore, both internal and external systems of the education sector should collaborate and work vigorously to empower rural teachers to effectively carry out the practices of new rural talents.
