The Mission and Practical Approach of Moral Punishment in Primary and Secondary Schools in the Era of Digital Intelligence
In the era of digital intelligence,people are facing multiple moral crises.Moral pun-ishment should actively undertake the mission given by the times.As a necessary way of moral edu-cation in primary and secondary schools,moral punishment should return to"people"—primary and secondary school students,highlighting the purpose of"cultivating morality"of moral punishment,regulating the moral emotions of primary and secondary school students,guiding primary and sec-ondary school students to do good deeds,and connecting the moral relationship between teachers and students in primary and secondary schools.However,the current moral punishment still has prob-lems such as deviating from the purpose of"cultivating morality",misusing moral punishment meth-ods,ignoring the interaction between teachers and students,and lacking the lasting and in-depth effects of moral education,all of which restricts the achievement of the application function and val-ue of moral punishment.Therefore,teachers should promote the effectiveness of moral punishment from the perspectives of creating a consensus on punishment,highlighting the educational orientation of"promoting good and rescuing mistakes";making moderate moral condemnation,and using rea-sonable moral punishment methods;paying attention to students'characteristics,promoting moral punishment cooperation between teachers and students;establishing punishment supervision,and building a long-term mechanism for cultivating morality.
