On the Problems and Solutions of Layout Design Courses in Teaching under the Concept of Ability Paradigm
Layout design is a compulsory professional course for art and design majors in universities,and plays an important role in talent cultivation.From the current situation,there is often a tendency to place too much emphasis on imparting knowledge in the teaching of this course,resulting in problems such as lack of novelty in design,neglect of humanized needs,lack of personalization,lack of cultural connotations,and lack of design emotions.This makes the teaching of this course unable to fully adapt to the training requirements of applied university talents in the new era.In order to effectively achieve the established training objectives,the teaching of this course should be guided by the concept of ability paradigm,reestablish the training objectives,improve the practical teaching system,implement an evaluation method centered on ability assessment,cultivate high-quality professional talents,and then implement the fundamental task of moral education.
