The Jia family in the Gucheng City has been a family of YanZhao culture for hundreds of years since the Ming and Qing Dynasties.However,due to the difficulty of literature collection,the academic circles have paid little attention to the literary achievements of the Jia family in the Gucheng City.Based on the investigation of the poems and essays Jia's Manuscripts in the Gucheng City and Jia's Series,it can be found that Jia's poetry and prose creation in the Gucheng City advocates filial piety and righteousness,with extremely distinctive Neo Confucianism characteristics,which is the performance of the Jia family's inheritance of Neo Confucianism.Jia's poets,represented by Jia Yantai,Jia Liuqi,Jia Yan(贾炎),Jia Yan(贾掞),Jia Ruyu and Jia Zhen,have made different achievements in poetry creation,each with its own characteristics,and have gone through more than ten generations.They are an existence that can not be ignored in the history of YanZhao poetics,and deserve further attention from the academic circles.
