Analysis on the Characteristics of Denominating and Toponym Landscapes of Villages in Xiongan New Area
Taking the village toponym in Xiongan New Area as the object of analysis,this paper summarized the naming characteristics of the Village Toponym in Xiongan New Area by sorting and analysis,which can reflect the diachronic process of the formation of the villages in this area.It was found that the villages in Xiongan New Area were mainly formed in the Song,Ming and Qing Dynasties.In general,the surname was the most used element of toponyms,which reflecting the formation of villages in Xiongan New Area mainly by immigrants.The composite use of different naming methods reflects the historical process of village changes.At the same time,according to the unique natural environment of Xiongan New Area and the frequent military activities in history,two types of village toponyms related to water and military were selected.The proportion and distribution of the two types of toponyms were analyzed respectively by using the mobile search method and the inverse distance weighted interpolation method in the geographic information system.Different types of toponym landscapes were studied so as to show the distribution characteristics of the villages living near the water areas in Xiongan New Aera,as well as the influence of military activities on the formation of villages in history.
