In contemporary times,science and technology are characterized by four qualities:absolute newness,strict boundaries,true values,and thorough questioning,which are the inherent characteristics that are superior to other cultural forms and forms of productive forces.These four qualities are unified in practice,among which the absolute new is the source of power for scientific and technological practice,the strictness of the boundary is the criterion of scientific and technological practice,the value is really the value orientation of scientific and technological practice,and the thorough question is the goal of scientific and technological practice.This paper discusses the contemporary quality of science and technology,explores the contemporary ethics of science and technology,gives the development of science and technology a value guidance and normative bottom line,corrects the current bad style of science and technology,and plays a leading role in building a modern socialist country and accelerating the promotion of Chinese-style modernization.
