Comparison of Green Policies between China and the EU and the Potential for Trade Cooperation
In recent years,China-EU cooperation in green development has attracted global attention, and scholars have conducted research on the areas covered by China-EU green development and trade cooperation from different perspectives.Through the comparison of the green policies of the two countries,it is found that China and the EU have great potential for cooperation in energy, industry, transportation and agriculture. At the same time, based on the theoretical research on green policy and trade cooperation between China and the EU,this paper constructs an analysis model and a multi-indicator method for the potential of China-EU green trade cooperation, and conducts an empirical analysis of energy trade as an example, using the panel data of China and 15 EU countries from 2007 to 2020 for 14 years,to explore the impacts of China-EU green policies on energy trade. The study finds that China and the EU have shown great potential for cooperation in the field of green energy trade after the green policies of both sides have been proposed.Furthermore, the empirical results are used to quantify the potential of China-EU energy trade, and the development direction and specific suggestions of China-EU green energy trade are proposed.
