Based on the cultural translation theory,this paper discusses the translation methods of the commentaries of Guangzhou Maritime Museum.And it can be found as following:1)transliteration method and annotation method are used to translate the culture-loaded words;2)literal translation method is used to translate the elements of Guangzhou city;3)free translation method is used to translate the four-character phrases,which can well spread the Chinese maritime cultures.The result can provide evidence for future discussion of similar commentaries translation.
