The overall study of the Yalu King epic is still in need of advancement,especially in the aspect of the oral tradition's"acceptance issues"within the epic.There is a need to break away from traditional literary research methods and shift towards a holistic perspective that integrates multidisciplinary approaches,multiple pieces of evidence,multiple viewpoints,and multiple texts.It should focus on analyzing the acceptance and influence from the perspectives of"from small tradition to great tradition,from oral recitation to cultural text,from ritual performance to cultural representation,"comprehensively examining the unique oral tradition acceptance issues and narrative studies of the Miao ethnic group's Yalu King epic,thereby promoting the in-depth development of Yalu King research.
