Peer teaching observation is a crucial professional responsibility for excellent teaching.Based on the exploration of literature related to peer teaching observation in higher education,this study designs a teaching observation framework based on communication,understanding,cooperation,and reflection.This framework aims to guide the effective implementation of peer teaching observation projects,help evaluation departments and teachers identify and solve specific problems in teaching,improve teaching methods and curriculum teaching levels,and promote teachers'professional development.Through this framework,teachers can support and learn from each other,stimulate professional dialogue,share good practices,form a continuous improvement cycle,and thus promote the overall improvement of teaching quality in universities.This framework not only focuses on specific measures for teaching improvement,but also emphasizes the importance of cooperation and feedback among teachers,ultimately achieving the goal of high-quality development of higher education.
