On Wang Chaowen's Aesthetic Education Thought and Its Modern Value
Wang Chaowen's ideas on aesthetic education are interspersed throughout his aesthetic writings.Through the combing and summary of his representative works,it is believed that his thoughts have enriched and developed modem Chinese aesthetic thought in five aspects:the concept,subjects,motivation,conditions,and functions of aesthetic education,thus forming a creatively distinct body of aesthetic education ideas.His strong personal characteristics are mainly reflected in three aspects:dialectical,subjective,and practical,which form an interconnected whole.On this basis,the modem value of Wang Chaowen's aesthetic education ideas is explored from three perspectives:disciplinary value,academic value,and contemporary relevance,which are considered essential under the modem academic purview.
