Analysis of Spatial Characteristics and Vitality of Cangxia Neighborhood in Fuzhou
The neighborhood is the material carrier that continues the vitality of the city and the memory of the city.Taking Cangxia Street in Fuzhou as an example,this paper uses the qualitative research method of spatial morphological succession combined with the quantitative analysis of spatial sentences to discuss the relationship between the spatial morphological characteristics of Cangxia Street and the spatial and temporal evolution of Cangxia Neighborhood from three aspects:the spatial morphology of the block,the vitality of the crowd,and the function of the commercial space of the block.The results show that Cangxia Street lacks foot flow,spatial accessibility needs to be improved,and low spatial perception leads to uneven distribution of neighborhood vitality.Finally,in view of the problems,a planning strategy is proposed to reorganize the commercial structure,improve traffic accessibility,and enhance the overall perception and recognition of the neighborhood.
