Distribution of Ardisia Plant Resources in Fujian Province
To investigate the distribution of Ardisia plant resources in Fujian Province,and provide theoretical basis for the development and utilization of A rdis ia.Through field investigation,literature review,and specimen identification,statistical analysis was conducted on the plants of Ardisia in Fujian Province.(1)In this survey of Ardisia in Fujian Province,a total of 17 species and 1 variety of Ardisia were found,including 10 species in the round toothed group,5 species in the serrated group,and 3 species in the axillary group.The Gaomu group,the short ordered group,and the apical ordered group were not distributed;(2)The plants of Ardisia are widely distributed in Fujian Province and generally grow well.The circular tooth group is mostly distributed in mountainous areas,the axillary sequence group is mostly distributed in coastal areas,and the serrated group is mostly in transitional zones;(3)There are 5 suspected plants of Ardisia in Fujian Province,including Ardisia humilis,Ardisia elliptica,Ardisia villosa,Ardisia faberi,and Ardisia crenata f.xanthocarpa.After investigation,it was confirmed that the Ardisia elliptica and Ardisia humilis were introduced and cultivated in gardens,but the identification of Ardisia villosa and Ardisia faberi was incorrect.Ardisia villosa should be Ardisia pusilla,and Ardisia faberi should be Ardisia fordii,Ardisia crenata f.xanthocarpar needs further observation.There are a variety of Ardisia plants in Fujian Province,with good adaptability and further expansion of their distribution range.Currently,no new record species have been found in Fujian,and further research is needed on the root of Ardisia crenata f.xanthocarpar.
