Newly Recorded Species in Shaanxi Province-Dryopteris wulingshanensis
To further clarify the species and distribution of ferns in Shaanxi province,a survey of forest and grass germplasm resources in Hanzhong area of Shaanxi Province was conductedby specimen collection and photo shoot Through morphological identification and phylogenetic analysis,it was proved to be a newly recorded specie in Shaanxi Province. The morphological characteristics were described, photos of the specimens and characteristics were provided.Through high-throughput DNA sequencing, the RuBisCO Large subunit(ITS)sequences were determined, and phylogenetic trees based on maximum likelihood method showed the sequences of this specie clustered into a branch with Dryopteris wulingshanensis, and the result of molecular systematics were consistent with the morphological identification result.Combined with morphology and phylogenetic analysis, this species was indentified as a new record in Shaanxi province-Dryopteris wulingshanensis.Meanwhile, the result also showed that the phylogenetic relationship with Dryopteris jishouensis was relatively close, the two species could be distinguished from aspects such as the vascular bundle at the base of the petiole, leaf shape, and leaf aspect ratio. The natural population of this plant was discovered for the first time in Shaanxi Province, which expanded the known distribution range of Dryopteris wulingshanensis, enriched the diversity of species resources in Shaanxi Province, and added new information to the flora of Shaanxi Province. The voucher specimen sare deposited in Herbarium of Shandong provincial Center of Forest and Grass Germplasm Resources(SDF).
