Thermal management simulation analysis of aftertreatment system based on fluid-structure coupling
Based on the fluid-structure coupling simulation method, the fluid simulation software STAR-CCM+ is used to establish the three-dimensional radiation model of a truck. The flow field and temperature field of the aftertreatment system under high-speed(60 km/h)and parking conditions are simulated, the thermal management of the aftertreatment system is carried out.The results show that due to the influence of vehicle speed, the heat transfer loss increases, and the temperature of the aftertreatment system can not meet the working requirements. After adding insulation layer, the solid wall temperature of the aftertreatment system is significantly increased, and the minimum temperature of the solid wall is increased by 58.83℃in high-speed condition and 58.50℃in parking condition. The insulation increases with the increasing insulation layer thickness, and the temperature rise difference decreases with the increasing insulation layer thickness.
