Influence of boundary conditions on output performance of PEMFC
To improve the output performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell(PEMFC),a PEMFC system model is built based on Thermolib,and a PEMFC testing platform is established to verify the model.Based on this,the influence of working boundary conditions such as working pressure,gas flow rate,gas phase relative humidity,and stack working temperature on the performance of the cell is analyzed.The results indicate that the model has high accuracy and meets the requirements.With the increase of gas flow rate,working temperature,and working pressure,the output performance of the battery first increases and then decreases.As the relative humidity of the gas increases,the output performance of the battery gradually improves.When the stoichiometric ratio of the anode and cathode of the battery is 1.4 and 2.0,the relative humidity of both anode and cathode gases is 100%,the working temperature is 70 ℃,and the working pressure is 250 kPa,the output performance of the battery is good.
