Design and Application of an Electric Van Model based on Cruise
At present, there are three main ways for OEMs to conduct a thorough survey of vehicle performance, such as simulation, drum bench test and actual road test.In the process of vehicle research and development, the drive system is the source of vehicle power, the contributor to the power performance of the whole vehicle, and the energy consumption concentration point of the economic performance of the whole vehicle. With the vigorous promotion of the development of new energy vehicles by the national government, the domestic market OEMs and parts manufacturers have formed a good competition scene of hundreds of schools of thought, just as this, the iteration of new products is becoming more and more frequent, which poses new challenges to the control of vehicle development cycle, cost and performance;According to the project model development ideas, after the production strategy clarifies the market positioning and preliminarily determines the vehicle performance target through market research and competitive product analysis, the system engineer will conduct the simulation and verification stage after calculating the selection of suitable components through matching calculation;Simulation has the advantages of low cost, high efficiency, strong flexibility, strong practicability, short cycle, and no site environment restrictions, and at the beginning of the project,it has important guiding significance for determining the power and CLTC economic goals of the whole vehicle, shortening the design cycle and design cost, reducing the trial production cost and test cost, and reducing the waste of process resources; In this paper, the model will be designed and applied by using Cruise simulation in the actual project development.
