Abstract
Automotive wiring harness is the core component of the automotive electrical system,and its design quality directly affects the performance and safety of the vehicle.As a result,the adoption of efficient and accurate design methods and tools,such as 3D design,has become an important requirement for the industry.Among the many 3D design software,CATIA is widely used in automotive wiring harness design because of its powerful functions and excellent performance.The purpose of this article is to discuss the importance of 3D design in automotive wiring harness design,and introduce in detail the basic situation and functional characteristics of CATIA software,as well as its advantages in automotive wiring harness design.At the same time,the basic process of automotive wiring harness 3D design will be introduced,and the key points of automotive wiring harness 3D design based on CATIA will be analyzed in depth.
