With the continuous development of the automobile industry,automotive exterior plastic parts have begun to be widely used as an important matching component.However,in the design and manufacturing process of automotive exterior plastic parts,due to the limitations of raw materials,processes and designs,some defects are prone to occur,such as cracking,deformation,color difference and other problems,which affect the appearance and quality of the car,and may even endanger the safety of drivers and passengers.Therefore,how to solve or reduce the design defects of automotive exterior plastic parts and improve the production quality of plastic parts has become one of the important issues faced by the automobile industry.The purpose of this paper is to analyze the causes of the design defects of automotive exterior plastic parts,and to propose corresponding solutions.Through in-depth discussion on the causes and solutions of defects in plastic parts,it provides a certain reference for improving the manufacturing level of automotive exterior plastic parts and ensuring the safety and riding experience of drivers and passengers.
