Practical classroom teaching is a very important part of automobile application and maintenance education,which is directly related to students'practical operation ability and employment competitiveness.This paper will study the practice of the classroom teaching of automobile application and maintenance in secondary vocational schools,expound the curriculum of automobile application and maintenance in secondary vocational schools,and then discuss the problems and challenges existing in the practical teaching,and put forward improvement strategies and suggestions,including cooperation with enterprises,sharing training resources,carrying out a variety of practical teaching activities,strengthening teacher training and improving the teaching management system,etc.,in order to provide reference and reference for the practical classroom teaching of automobile application and maintenance in secondary vocational schools,promoting the improvement of students'comprehensive quality and employment competitiveness.
