With the implementation of the national new urbanization strategy,the construction of small towns has ushered in new development opportunities.As an important support for the development of small towns,the road transportation system carries the future development of cities and towns,and is related to the daily travel of the masses.Compared with large cities,small towns have the characteristics of low population density and short travel distances.Due to the lag of road construction and the interweaving of internal and external travel,the current situation of urban residents and transit vehicles have been greatly affected.Taking Yangjiabo Town in Tianjin as an example,this paper analyzes the current traffic problems and industrial development direction of the town,adheres to the principle of adapting measures to local conditions and giving priority to green,and proposes three transportation development strategies:building a comprehensive logistics hub node,building a convenient travel system for residents,and providing high-quality tourism travel services,so as to build Yangjiabo Town into a modern small town suitable for living,working and traveling.
