For mechanical majors,the basic course of mechanical design is a key part of the practice system.This paper is designed and implemented with reference to the accreditation standards of engineering education,adopts the OBE method as the theoretical basis of education reform,combines course teaching with mechanical discipline competitions,updates the course connotation,teaching methods and evaluation system,introduces the ideological and political elements in professional courses,and increases the cultivation of students'innovation ability,aiming to improve the quality of course teaching and talent training.Through practice,the curriculum reform has continuously improved students'enthusiasm and innovation ability,and has achieved excellent results in various discipline competitions,showing a continuous development trend.
