This article takes a teaching task in the"Automobile Cognition"major course at Baiyin Mining and Metallurgy Vocational and Technical College as an example to explain the characteristics and moral education connotation of the"Automobile Cognition"course.Against the background of ideological and political education in the school,specific measures and corresponding ideological and political points for ideological and political education in the integrated professional teaching process are proposed,and the role of carrying out ideological and political education reform in students'future growth and development is analyzed.
