Guiyang City as a new second-tier city,the economic development is fast,but the traffic jam problem is becoming more and more serious.In 2021,the public security traffic management department of Guiyang City conducted big data analysis on the key slow road sections of Guiyang City,and found out 32 morning and evening peak urban congestion points in Guiyang city,of which 3 congestion points involved the Changling Road section.As the main road of Guanshanhu District,Changling Road affects residents'travel in Guanshanhu District.This paper aims to analyze the causes of traffic congestion on Changling Road in Guanshanhu District by referring to the traffic congestion control methods of major cities in China and combining with the actual situation of traffic congestion control in Guiyang City,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures for the traffic congestion control optimization of Changling Road.
