With the rapid development of automobile technology,the teaching content of automobile major in vocational colleges is facing the challenge of updating and adjusting.This paper analyzes the influence of modern automobile technology on the teaching content of higher vocational automobile majors,and discusses the necessity and direction of teaching content update.The study finds that the development of modern automotive technologies such as new energy technology,intelligent network technology and advanced manufacturing technology requires higher vocational automobile majors to strengthen the teaching of relevant knowledge.In order to adapt to this change,higher vocational colleges need to optimize the curriculum,update the teaching content,improve the teaching methods,strengthen the cooperation between schools and enterprises,and improve the ability of teachers.Through these measures,the higher vocational automotive major can cultivate skilled talents that are more in line with the needs of the industry.
