The application of competency-based education model in automobile inspection and maintenance technology aims to accurately meet the needs of the industry and strengthen the cultivation of students'core competencies.This paper provides an in-depth analysis of the five core competencies required for this professional position:professional diagnosis and maintenance capabilities,emphasizing rapid fault identification and efficient maintenance;Detection technology and application ability,students are required to master advanced detection technology and data analysis;Self-learning and innovation ability,encourage students to continue learning and have the courage to explore new technologies;Communication and teamwork skills,promote good communication between students and customers,and improve the efficiency of teamwork;Professional quality and moral concept,pay attention to the cultivation of students'professional ethics,legal awareness and safety concept.The cultivation of these core competencies not only enhances students'professional skills,but also lays a solid foundation for their future career development.
