This paper analyzes the background of ideological and political teaching of automobile professional courses in higher vocational colleges,and explains the overall design of ideological and political teaching of automobile professional courses in higher vocational colleges from two aspects:establishing the ideological and political direction of the curriculum and setting the main line of curriculum ideological and political education.On this basis,taking"Structure and Maintenance of Automobile Engine Electronic Control System",the core course of automobile major in higher vocational colleges,as an example,the specific design of the teaching of automobile major courses in higher vocational colleges based on course ideology and politics is discussed,and the design and implementation points of ideological and political teaching of automobile professional courses in higher vocational colleges are emphatically expounded with pre-class,in-class,after-class and assessment evaluation as the starting point.
