Static test of brake is a kind of test method about brake related components of EMU and components on and under vehicle,to verify that the functions of the components related to the brake system of EMU after repair meet the original design requirements,and to verify whether the technical standards of the on-site operators are up to the standards.This paper summarizes the importance of the static test of braking and the relationship among the points,and introduces the principle behind the test and the optimization scheme of the subsequent maintenance in detail.The paper perfectly interprets the meaning of brake static test as a milestone of advanced repair,and provides technical support for the operator in the field in the following fault detection and theoretical research.
