One of the main components of EMUs is the bogie,and the scientific and reasonable maintenance plan can ensure the safety of EMU operation.Maintenance decisions mainly include determining how and when to repair,so preventive maintenance strategies need to be studied in depth.Based on this,this paper selects the bogie components of the EMU as the focus,analyzes the structural composition and function of the bogie,expounds the necessity of preventive maintenance of the bogie components of the EMU,summarizes the common fault problems of the bogie,and gives the preventive maintenance measures for the failure of the bogie components according to the characteristics of the EMU to ensure the safe operation of the EMU.
