This paper mainly introduces the related content of electro-mechanical braking system(EMB).With the development of brake control technology,wire control of brake system has become a key technical route in this field.Automotive electro-mechanical Braking System(EMB)is a new type of automotive braking system,which combines electronic technology and mechanical braking principle.The purpose of this study is to discuss the performance characteristics,working principle,key technology and application prospect of EMB system in the field of automotive braking.First of all,this paper introduces the composition and working principle of EMB system,including electronic control unit,sensor,actuator and other key components,describes its braking process,and analyzes the advantages of EMB system compared with traditional hydraulic braking system,including faster braking response speed and more accurate braking force distribution.Secondly,this paper describes the key technology of electromechanical braking.Finally,this paper looks forward to the development trend of EMB technology in the field of automotive braking in the future,and points out that it has broad application prospects in improving vehicle safety and reducing energy consumption emissions.In summary,EMB system as an innovative line control technology,will bring important development opportunities for the automotive industry.
