In the optimal design of electric vehicle chassis layout,we need to consider not only the arrangement of the power battery pack,but also the comprehensive performance of the whole vehicle such as handling,stability and smoothness.Designing a reasonable and ideal chassis layout optimization scheme is of far-reaching significance for the future development of electric vehicles.In view of the above problems,this paper proposes to establish different electric vehicle chassis layouts through the ADAMS Car simulation model,conduct simulation tests based on national standards and evaluation methods,compare the tests of different chassis layout schemes,determine the more ideal and reasonable chassis design scheme for vehicle handling,stability and smoothness,and verify the optimization results through the analysis of simulation results.
