It is crucial to conduct buckling analysis based on misuse conditions in the design of the lower arm of the front suspension.When the vehicle encounters unconventional road conditions such as severe braking through potholes or bumps,the front lower arm will bear excessive loads,leading to buckling problems.This article conducts finite element analysis and optimization on the front lower control arm of a certain new energy vehicle model,ensuring that the product still has sufficient strength when subjected to extreme loads,avoiding plastic deformation,and thereby enhancing the safety and durability of the vehicle.At the same time,this analysis and optimization process also provides reference ideas for the subsequent buckling improvement of the single board control arm scheme.
